stoneware jug has been glazed in a tenmoku chun clear glaze with splashes of earthware studios original cobalt glaze. the jug has been splashed and doubled dipped in glaze. the glaze during firing dripped a little bit creating a gorgeous little blue tear drop shape that we havent removed it from the jug making it sit a little unevenly. thats the beauty of hand made pottery! its unique and full of surprises. i glazed the jug with a view of putting fresh orange juice or annar juice .I love creating a colour balance between my crockery and food.
