Luster Doodhdaan (A305)

This raku doodhdaan is a part of our Metallic Pitcher series. The dynamic glazing is reminiscent of traditional Japanese raku pottery. It has a beautiful, almost holographic looking interior luster that occurs when you reduce the glaze as you pull it out. When a glaze is molten and pulled out of the kiln, its as if you’re seeing a natural geological occurrence. Apart from that, the exterior of the pitcher has a pretty crackle pattern because of its raku glaze.

Raku glazed products, due to their high metallic content, are usually not recommended to use for food on a regular basis. This pitcher can be used for milk and water but please make sure it isn’t used for storage.
